The factors that affect primary and secondary students dressing choice

In this study conducted between the years of 2011-2012, the factors that affect the preferences of clothing, choices, buying of clothing and the behaviors about purchasing of clothing were examined. At this study eighth and twelfth grade students have been used.For detecting the clothing preferences, buying preferences and behaviors, a questionnaire was conducted. The questionnaire was conducted on 838 students and the results were analyzed. Statistical analyses have been done with SPSS 16.0 package programme and chi-square test and independent samples t-test were used for analyses.As a result of this study, very important results were obtained about clothing preferences, buying behavior and preferences of the adolescents.Key words: Clothing, adolescent
