Computer-assisted instruction i̇n the primary school and the use of computer labs in teacher attitudes and views-Adana sample

This research is made to determine the attitude of teachers working in primary schools towards computer-assisted instruction and their using computer labs in the education process. The primary school and branch teachers that worked in the primary schools of Adana in 2009-2010 education year formed the universe of the research. The sampling is generated by 581 primary school and branch teachers of 17 primary schools randomly chosen. The data obtained from implementing surveys is analyzed at spss15.0 packet programme. In the analyze of data, t-test and one-way Anova of parametric measurements, Kruskal vallis and Mann Whitney U of nonparametric measurements are used. Furthermore, while off-scale substances are evaluated, descriptive analyze is made and in this context frequency and ratios are viewed. The obtained findings demonstrates that the teachers with young age compared to the ones with more advanced age adopt computer assisted instruction and use in their lectures more ,computer related in-service education given does not lead to computer-aided teaching and the ones that find the taken in-service education sufficient grows a positive point of view (perspective) to their attitude towards computer assisted instruction.The researches and survey results indicates that teachers though taken education don't find themselves sufficient at computer assisted instruction applications.
