Opplications of orientation proposal forms? affects on primary school students? chooses of educational type and educational field

The study of Orientation Proposel Form has a critical importance that has started to apply in 2003-2004 education year. The application of Orientation Proposel Form take place on the last class of primary school in our country which is well planned and the systematic orientation service. The aim of this study is to find out the effects of application of Orientation Proposel Form on choosing school and educational field for primary school studentsIn this study ıt has been observed that educational types proposed in Orientation Proposel Forms and ıts approprıates of the educational types which they attended. This study esppecially focused on appropriateness of students? educational choices and what proposed in Orientation Proposel Forms, of the students also the focus was how studnts make their choice of studying fields, the types of the education that students went on, and their appropriateness of their own studying field and the kind of the education they followed.The questionnaire prepered in order to get information about above issues. The sample incleded 466 students, 259 of them were female and 207 male students. Findings from their answers stated as of frequency percentege and Chi-Square.The knowledge had been gained that the students did not take into accaunt what proposcal in Orientation Proposel Form, for their choices, mostly follawed their families? choices and their success in the subject for their educational types and field, despite this educational fields which the students attend and also the findings shoved that the students belivel that had overlapped, on reflects, their knowledge had been gained that the educational field, interest and talents and they were suitable for them, further on they emphasised on their satisfaction on their choices.Keywords: Orientation Proposel Form, Orientation, Educational Type, Educational Field, Career Guidance, Educational Guidance
