Özet (EN)

This research was conducted to determine the relationship between primary school 4th grade students' self-efficacy beliefs and creativity levels and to determine whether students' self-efficacy beliefs and creativity levels differ according to demographic variables. The research is a descriptive study in relational screening model. The population of the research consists of students who continue their education in public and private primary schools in the districts (Çukurova, Seyhan, Yüreğir ve Sarıçam) of Adana province in the 2020-2021 academic year. The sample group consists of 289 fourth grade primary school students, 149 girls and 140 boys, who were selected by a stratified sampling method among the students who were continuing their education in selected schools during the year. Research data "Self-Efficacy Scale for Children", "How Creative Are You?" scales and personal information forms were collected. One-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and t-test were used in the analysis of the data obtained in the study. Tukey test was used to determine which group caused the difference in ANOVA. Data that did not show normal distribution were analyzed using the Kruskal Wallis H test. Pearson Correlation analysis was applied to reveal the relationship between the variables. According to the findings obtained in the research; It has been determined that students' self-efficacy beliefs differ significantly according to gender, parental education level, parental profession, number of siblings, socio-economic level of the family. It was concluded that the students' self-efficacy beliefs did not differ significantly according to the socio-economic status of the school environment. It has been determined that the total creativity levels of the students are below the average. It was concluded that the creativity levels of the students differed only according to the mother's profession variable, and there was no significant difference in terms of other variables. In addition, it was determined that there was a low level, positive and significant relationship between the students' total self-efficacy scores and their total creativity scores.
