Abstract (EN)

In this study, it is aimed to examine the effect of virtual museum activities, implementedas a part of culture and heritage learning in 4th grade social studies course in primary schools, on students' attitudes to social studies course. The study group of the research consists of 4th grade students studying at a public primary school affiliated with the Ministry of National Education in Mudurnu district of Bolu province during the 2023-2024 academic year. The data has been accumulated by applying a pre-test and post-test to a single group and analyzed according to the quantitative research method. The study has been conducted with 100 4th grade students and completed in 8 hours in the span of 6 weeks. In the research, virtual museum activities related to the lesson objectives of "the national culture" and "children's games" units in the field of culture and heritage learning have been carried out and the effect on students' attitudes towards social studies course has been observed. The obtained data has been analyzed with a statistics program. Tools and techniques of descriptive analysis have been used in this research. It has been concluded that virtual museum activities regarding the culture and heritage learning in 4th grade social studies course positively affected students' attitudes towards the social studies course.
