There were differences in students' dependency with respect to age, sex, childs' preschool education, socio-economic level, parents' education and mother's occupation. Parents' attitudes do not vary in accordance with age and class; yet they vary in accordance with child's preschool education, parents' income, education and sex. As the students' dependency increases, so as the parents' authoritative attitudes. Parents and educationalists should be democratic in order to help children to develop a strong and independent personality. They ought to be democratic in their attitudes and this way they should support their childrens' independent behaviours.
