Investigation of the relationship between service leadership features and teachers 'motivations of the directors in the primary school

The aim of this descriptive qualified, relational scanning model study is to determine the relationship between the leadership properties of school administrators and the motivation levels of teachers. The research universe of the study is consisted of randomly chosen 350 primary school teachers located at Siirt city center. Two different scales were used as data collection tools. SPSS package program was used during the analysis of collected data within the study. To determine the distribution of research data, skewness and kurtosis means were analyzed, and it was determined that the data meets normality measures. Reliability analysis, frequency tables, independent sample t-test, ANOVA, correlation and regression analysis were applied within the study. As a result of the study, it was found out that according to perceptions of the teachers, servant leadership attitudes of school administrators are at a high level. It was found out that the motivation level of the teachers is at a high level. The findings of the study put forward that there is a meaningful relationship between motivation levels of the teachers and servant leadership attitudes of school administrators considering perceptions of the teachers.The results of the current regression analysis were determined as the result that the managers' servant leadership characteristics predicted teacher motivation significantly.
