Abstract (EN)

Abdullah b. Es‟ad al-Yâfiî Yemen, who is a scholar, sufi and one of the important figures of Qadiriyya, is an important personality that influenced the Hijaz region of Egypt and Arabia with his views. While taking lessons from Necmeddin Taberî, Radiyuddin Taberî and ġerafeddin Ahmed b. Ali Harâzî in artificial sciences, he also took lessons from ġeyh Mes‟ud el-Câvi ve Ali b. Abdullah et-TavâĢî in spiritual sciences. By improving in artificial - spiritual sciences and establishing the Yâfiiyye branch of Qadiriyya, he contributed to the foundation of an Islamic-Sufi culture in its region. With this study, both information about Imam Yâfiî was given and his views in his book named "Er-Risâletü‟l-Mekkiyye fî Tarîki‟s-Sâdâti‟sSûfiye" were examined. Imam Yâfiî is a versatile 14th-century scholar who has adopted the views of EĢ'ari in kalam, Qadiriyya in Sufism, and the followers of the Sunnah in artificial science, who is a scholar, an enlightened, a poet, a mufassir and a scribe.
