Abstract (EN)
Gluconic acid and derivatives are important compounds that are used in food, pharmaceutical, textile, detergent, leather, construction and other biological industries. In this study, optimum conditions for production of gluconic acid were investigated by using immobilized glucose oxidase enzyme in shake flasks. Glucose oxidase was immobilized in alginate gels with the method of entrapment. Effects of silicone oil and soybean oil on production of gluconic acid was studied. The specific activities were found 2,6x10-2 U/mg and 1,7x10-2 U/mg, for free and immobilized enzyme, respectively. When 4 % (v/v) silicone oil or soybean oil were used, the activity of immobilized glucose oxidase increased 1,69 times and 1,33 times, compared to media without these oils, respectively.
