Abstract (EN)

In the literature so far, there is few study on birth order and gender related effectson language development. Although the literature is suggestive, it has not provided asufficient empirical basis for the consequences of birth order and gender for languagedevelopment. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to discover whether thelanguage development is different depending on gender and birth order and to provideevidence in experience and development that will provide a basis for inferring howthe multiple components of language development make use of language experience.This study asks if there are differences in language use among the children dependingon whether female/male or first/later born. Furthermore, this study asks whethergender or birth order is related to differences among children in their rates oflanguage development, including measures pragmatic development.Key words1.
