Özet (EN)

This thesis investigates the mediating role of organizational commitment in the relationship between employees' perceptions of artificial intelligence (AI) usage in the workplace and their perceived job performance. Focusing on the food industry, the study explores two dimensions of AI-related anxiety: learning anxiety and job replacement anxiety. Using a quantitative research design, data were collected from white-collar employees at the headquarters of a food company in Istanbul. The findings reveal that AI learning anxiety significantly increases continuance commitment, yet has no meaningful effect on affective or normative commitment. Conversely, job replacement anxiety is not significantly associated with any form of commitment. Only affective commitment is found to positively influence employee performance. Moreover, affective commitment shows a weak mediating effect in the link between learning anxiety and performance, whereas other types of commitment exhibit no mediating roles. These results suggest the nuanced psychological mechanisms through which AI anxieties shape workplace behavior and underscore the necessity of human-centered digital strategies in the face of rapid technological transformation. Keywords : Artificial intelligence, organizational commitment, employee performance. Numeric Code of the Field :119102
