Abstract (EN)
Intensive use of air transportation vehicles increases the air traffic density. Controlled, organized, systematic and safe flights are provided by air traffic systems. The preparation of the flight plans and the commands given during the take-off and landing period of the flights are made by the controllers. Controllers need to work very carefully in order to prevent collision situations during the flight, to manage emergency situations and to ensure that there are no faults. Therefore, they should make a fast, stable and accurate decision. The controllers manage the air traffic flow by a system called controller working position. This system provides the controllers with 2-dimensional information on the controlled airspace and the flights in this airspace. The controllers read and interpret the information contained in the 2D image and give the necessary instructions. This situation increases the workload of the controllers.
