Abstract (EN)

ABSTRACT Master Thesis AN INVESTIGATION OF THE EFFECTS OF INDAZOLE DERIVATIVES ON SOME PARAMETERS (A, E, C VITAMINS, SELENIUM, MDA LEVELS AND GSH-Px ACTIVITY ) ON RATS Ebru ÇELİK Fırat University Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciencies, Department of Chemistry 2003, Page: 33 In this study, in the rats blood serum that indazol derivatives are injected under their skin, A, E, C vitamins, selenium, malondialdehyde, high amomted and High Performence Liquid Chromotography, eritrosit Glutation peroxidaz (GSH-Px) activity and spectrofotometer are determined at the rat's liver and kidney. The rats which are injected 3-Pirol-lH-Indazol and 3-Indolil-lH-Indazol, a degrease of A, E, C vitamins in their liver and kidney to the control group, an increase at MDA levels, maximum increase on eritrosit activities, on the 7* dated injection are observed contrast to the control group. But on the 15th and 30th days the eritrosit activities are again reached close to the control values. According to these findings it can be assumed that 3-Pirol-lH-Indazol and 3-Indolil-lH- Indazol are forming oksidotif stress depending on the injection time and also they are increasing the free radical formation. As a result, according to our opinion, in the long term usage of the drugs containing indazole derivatives, it is essential to take antioxidanU*ilfiattflSA*öh4hem. Key Words : Indazole, Vitamin A, Vitamin E, Vitamin C, Se, MDA, GSH-Px and HPLC IV
