Sportive Leisure Time Interest and Psychological Resilience Levels of Prison Protection Officers Thanks to the developing technology, working hours in social life have shortened and the leisure time of individuals has increased. With this increase, individuals tried to make use of their spare time from work. The activities they participate in in their spare time differ from person to person. Therefore, this situation highlights the importance of participation. Particularly sportive leisure time participation has been seen as an important activity in the evaluation of leisure time. The subject of this study is the differences in the increasing use of leisure time in human life and the risks and benefits of using this different leisure time. It is necessary to be aware of this distinction in order to gain more access to the individual and social benefits of leisure time. In this study, free time It has been examined in different dimensions in the context of ordinary and systematic leisure time activities that have not been emphasized much in Turkey until today. By giving information about the differences in the use of leisure time, attention was drawn to the systematic and higher-yielding leisure activities, and suggestions were presented for their dissemination. The aim of this research is to measure the participation levels of prison and guards who participate in leisure activities regarding the activities they participate in and to investigate the effect on their psychological resilience. For this purpose, the scale used in the study of Gürbüz, Çimen and Aydın, who carried out the adaptation study of the 'Leisure Time Participation Scale' (SCI) developed by Kyle, Absher, Norman, Hammitt and Jodice was used. Işık (2016) Resilience Scale was used. Data analysis SPSS 22.0 package program will be used. Correlation analysis, Independent Sample t-test and One Way ANOVA analyzes will be used together with descriptive statistics as statistical methods. No difference was found in terms of age, education variable, age of doing sports and working hours in sportive leisure time involvement. Married, male, doing sports for 6-10 years, sportive leisure time involvement was higher. Mental resilience and logical analysis showed that male participants had higher resilience. It was observed that the participants with undergraduate education level had higher psychological resilience. It was observed that the participants' PBL and problem-solving power were higher than the participants who did sports. There was no significant difference in psychological resilience in the dimensions of doing sports, age, working year, working hours. There is a positive effect of approximately 35% between leisure time involvement and resilience. It is seen that involvement in sportive leisure time increases psychological resilience by 12.5%.
