Abstract (EN)
The construction industry, by its nature, contains many risky working areas. As a result of the statistical research, we come across construction work as the business line where fatal occupational accidents are most common in our country. Repairing the consequences of the accidents is a material and morally more exhausting process than preventing them. With the to notice of this status, the proaktif approach have been developed to occupational health and safety working. The first thing to do to prevent occupational accidents is a comprehensive risk analysis study. It is possible to minimize occupational accidents at construction sites after a comprehensive and meticulously managed risk assessment process. The purpose of this study is; to create a comprehensive resource for occupational health and safety professionals working in the sector and to contribute by identifying the hazards that may be encountered at construction sites. Within the scope of this thesis, hazards were determined by the risk analysis study carried out in a small-scale construction site with a construction area of 4000m2 in the central district of Tokat. In the study, Fine-Kinney risk analysis method, which is frequently used in very dangerous work areas, had been preferred. As a result of the risk analysis, 365 hazard definitions were made. The risks that may be caused by the identified hazards were scored and the order of importance was established. Of these dangerous situations, 60 were obtained as very high risk, 211 as high risk, 81 as significant risk, 11 as medium risk and 2 as low risk. Appropriate occupational health and safety measures have been proposed for all risky situations. In addition, in the conclusion part, resolution suggestions were made to the occupational health and safety gaps in the sector based on the information and observations obtained during the thesis research.
