Work safety training in construction sector

Construction sector in one of the most important ones in our country in that it creates employment and economic growth. Furthermore, this sector leads those in terms of labor accidents. Every year, thousands of employees working for this sector suffer from labour accidents thus resulting in deaths, injuries and woundings. On the other hand, leading ones of labour accidents in construction sector are falling down from height, electric shock, falling supplies and landslip in excavating areas. In this sense, thanks to occupational health and safety practices being practiced for a while in our country, trainigs are given all sectors. In accordance with this, some trainings are given in construction sector. The aim of this study is to examine the trainings related to occupational health and safety being given in construction sector.
