Abstract (EN)

It is obviously known that one of the major arguments about the Turkish human rights law is freedom of thought. This characteristic of the mentioned freedom is on the other hand, said to be mostly related with the violation rules stated by the European Court of Human Rights. Therefore preparation of this study basicly aims to introduce the case law about the subject and determine the main approachs followed by the Turkish legal doctrine.The thesis includes the study of the articles, books as well as it refers the jurisdiction of the European Court of Human Rights and Turkish Constitutional Court.
