Abstract (EN)
The history of man can also be considered as the history of human rights. Living together and the urgency of living together in a society have eventually become a natural preference in time and thus it has eventually brought for people the concept of human rights as a necessity of living in peace. The notion of human rights is an integral part of democracy and the rule of law in our age. Those rights has progressed a course starting from general regulations into personal ones throughout the historical process (from essential regulations into refined ones). Patient rights which are connected to the right to health are also an extent of human rights as a consequence. Turkey tries to keep up with the universal regulations which also cover the dimension of European standards regarding human rights, the right to health and patient rights. As a matter of fact, budget regulations have been implemented from the constitutional level to the regulations level in this field. The main point is that these regulations which are, more or less, in paralel with universal tendencies should often be reviewed and that necessary changes should be done.Key words: Right, Human Rights, The Right To Health, Patient Rights, The Right To A Healthy Life.
