The research was designed in line with the embedded experimental design, one of the mixed research method designs. The data were collected with the "Human Rights, Citizenship and Democracy Academic Achievement Test", Human Rights, Citizenship and Democracy Attitude Scale" and reflection reports prepared by the researcher. In practice, while the control group students were studying in line with the current curriculum for 10 weeks, the experimental group students were taught with creative drama activities supported by Web 2.0 tools. Quantitative data were analyzed by independent sample t-test and ANOVA, and qualitative data were analyzed by content analysis. In line with the quantitative findings of the study, a statistically significant difference was found between the academic achievement scores of the experimental group students and the control group students in favor of the experimental group. While there was a statistical difference in the findings of student attitudes towards the course in terms of the time variable, no significant difference was found in terms of the method variable. According to the findings of the qualitative data, the experimental group students stated that they had a lot of fun during the experimental process, they liked the creative drama activities very much, they found the activities done with Web 2.0 tools useful, and they learned a lot of information about human rights. Based on the results of the research, the creative drama method supported by Web 2.0 tools can be used in order to contribute to the academic success of the students and their attitudes towards the course in Human Rights, Citizenship and Democracy education.
