Abstract (EN)

The enterprises using Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) are willing to go beyond being an ordinary management function and become a structure that shapes the strategic decisions. From time to time, the fact that the system is complex and time consuming reveals user resistance and inert system problems accordingly. The purpose of this study is to ensure the identification of the necessary acceptance and success of the use factors for the successful implementation of the human resources information systems software in the enterprise, analyse its impact on user satisfaction and success of the use and make proposals. In this context, we focused on the factors affecting the success of HRIS and used the factors for the new integrated model constructed of three different theories. These are as the followings: the perceived usefulness and success of the use from the Technology Acceptance Model; subjective norm and perceived behavioural control from the Theory of Planned Behaviour; and system quality, information quality and satisfaction from Delone and Mclean Information Systems' success model. This study differs from other studies in terms of measuring both acceptance and use. The data used for this study were obtained from 114 enterprises implementing HRIS with its all sub-modules. Thanks to the study, it is aimed to contribute for more efficient implementation of widely-used HRIS and find solutions to the implementation failures that may result in user resistance and inert system problem. Key Words: Human Resource Information Systems, Extended Technology Acceptance Model, DeLone ve McLean Information System
