Impact of human resources applications on mobbing perception of employees: A study on private school teachers

Abstract (EN)

In this study, it was aimed to determine whether human resources practices in private schools have an impact on teachers' perception of mobbing. For this purpose, data were collected from 155 teachers working in private schools in Istanbul using the Human Resources Implementation Scale and Mobbing Perception Scale. These data were analyzed in SPSS program. According to the findings of the research, it was determined that the teachers working in the private school generally found the human resources practices in their institutions as adequate. In the dimension of planning according to the gender and educational status of teachers; according to marital status; according to the schools they work in the dimension of planning and job security; education and job security according to age; there was a difference in the personnel selection and training dimension according to their monthly income. Although the mobbing perceptions of the private school teachers were low, it was observed that the mobbing experienced the highest level of attack on their profession. Women mobbing perceptions of men, class teachers mobbing perceptions of branch teachers; Primary school teachers' perception of mobbing was found higher than high school teachers. The mean scores of mobbing according to age groups and their seniority vary. It was determined that there was a negative but significant relationship between the mobbing sub-dimensions and the main dimension and the main dimension of human resources applications and most of the sub-dimensions. As a result; human resources practices have an impact on mobbing and the effect is 65.10%. Human resources practices mostly affect the size of attacks against the individual's profession and 71.30%.
