Abstract (EN)

With today's modern management approach dominating the management literature, managers turned into a coach manager providing development of staff and therefore organization, instead of only command and make staff doing their job. The motivation and success of the staff increases with the implementation of the coaching approach in human resources management. In this study, it is aimed to examine the managers'own coaching approach and evaluation, and the personnel's evaluation of managers' coaching approach. The findings of the study show that effective communication is the essence of coaching, that self-evaluation of managers about their own coaching approach are unrealistic, and that personnel's evaluation of managers about coaching approach are not as positive as managers think.
