Abstract (EN)
Today, human, which provides advantage of competition, takes the lead among the other factors in all the institutions and corporations. The selection and employment process is a starting point for the productive use of human resource. For that reason, corporations attribute a great importance to this process and apply different kinds of exams and interviews to choose the most suitable staff for a position. Corporations compete to get and hide the most suitable staff among the most educated and qualified ones by carrying out a systematic selection process. Therefore, the selection of the staff has a vital importance for them.In this study, the importance of the selection and employment process is revealed by evaluating the stages of this process. The last part of the study includes the survey applied on the human resources employees of VESTEL ELEKTRONİC, leading company in electronic sector in Manisa. Similarities are observed between the results and the literature as a consequence of evaluation and interpretation of questions taking place in the survey.
