Abstract (EN)

The importance of human is becoming more apparent in competitive environment and the strategic synergy emerging from the integrated human resource functions is desired aim for business much more than the past. In this respect, the importance of human resource management cause significant actors to be shaped by the effects of internal and external components of environment. The strategic role of human resource management and the factors shaping this strategic role occur depending on sector and sub-work field dynamics and this relation can be defined through organizational parameters. Experienced institutionalization process for organizations and efforts to keep on this successful process is the useful way to gain desired aims in the competitive organizational environments. This situation leads environmental components to change by forming convenient dynamics for institutionalization process. In this context, the interaction effects of institutionalization level and institutionalization indicators with environmental components on developing strategy can be accomplishable through systematic approach. The aim of the study is to reveal differentiation of the factorss hapings trategic role of human resource management for an institution considering the interaction relations between internal-external environments depending on sector and work-field for organization and institutionalization indicators defined with experience institutionalization process. In the sample of the research, at least one of the enterprises in the relevant business lines representing 46 occupational committees which are included in the classification of Istanbul Chamberof Trade Committees among the companies listed in the ISO 500 -2017 list for the production sector was chosen. For the service sector, it is deemed appropriate to have at least one business representing 12 sub-branches from the 46 occupational committees categorized in the occupational committees classification of the Istanbul Chamber of Trade. Texts from company web sites are examined and content analysis is used by means of code, category and theme for the expressions that are related to main and sub-variables meaningfully. Strategic human resource management factors, institutionalization indicators and environmental components that prevail for businesses and the sector in which they are involved have emerged. The sectoral differences of the data were mostly detected by chi-square suitability test and Mann-Whitney U test which is a non-parametric test and the interaction effects of the variables were examined by chi-square homogeneity test. According to results, prevailing factors related to strategic human resource management, institutionalization indicators and environment components are revealed for organizations and the whole sector, separately. It is revealed that the factors related to strategic human resource management, institutionalization, and environmental components are differentiated for the whole sector. The interaction effect of institutionalization with environment for developing factors related to strategic human resource management are not significantly differentiated for some themes. Besides, interaction effect of institutionalization indicators with strategic human resource factors for sector causes the factors related to human resource management for organization to differentiate in the whole sector. The effect of the interaction of internal environment, close (sectoral) environment, general environmental components and factors that prevail at sectoral level and which are effective in revealing the strategic role of human resources management in the sector, has an effect on determining the strategic human resource management factors specific to the institution. In general, hypotheses were accepted / partially accepted, and some sub-components of the research variables did not differ significantly for the sector. The most prominent themes in the production sector under the main topic of strategic human resources are leadership, innovation and quality; the most prominent themes under the main topic of institutionalization are sustainability, efficiency, reliability; The most prominent themes under the main topic of environment are sustainability, energy management, occupational health and safety. The most prominent themes in the service sector under the main topic of strategic human resources are customer satisfaction, service quality, sustainability; The most prominent themes under the main topic of institutionalization are innovation, development, leadership; The most prominent themes under the main title of environment are occupational health and safety, social responsibility, energy management system.
