The main purpose of this thesis is the design of the SEPIC converter, which converts the variable direct current input voltage to a constant direct current output voltage, the designing and realizing of its control with the internal model controller. For this purpose, a converter power board with 250W output power, which converts a system with variable 9Vdc-36Vdc input voltage to a constant 28Vdc output voltage, has been designed, manufactured and tested for use in the military defense industry. The small signal model of the SEPIC converter is obtained. The internal model controller is designed and applied to the converter and simulated in the Matlab / Simulink program. The response of the circuit in instantaneous input voltage and load changes is simulated. Printed circuit board of SEPIC is also drawn using the Altium Designer program. Since the use of microcontroller makes the system more stable than analog circuits, the production of pulse width modulation (PWM) signal is created with the 'STM32L100C-DISCO' model discovery board of STM Electronics Company. The control system is embedded in the discovery board with the Keil µVision IDE environment. This board is sampling the output voltage and gives PWM signal to the SEPIC converter in the required duty cycle. In the tests carried out with the produced SEPIC converter power circuit, ripples in the output voltage and current are examined.
