The usage of internet banking and the economy time: An application about personnel of health in Adana

Our age is a period in which communication and internet technologies have shown a swift development and people are adjusting to these technologies fast. Because of this, in our times, when there are people with needs and desires that changes every other day, owing to the developing technology, spread of internet environment lays the groundwork for this. Development of the technology has also been effective on banking sector. The banking market which wants to be involved in today's economic situations, competition environment has become a sector that uses internet and technology actively. Thus, accordingly, in banking sector, constant renewals are seen in alternative distribution channels. The most important one of these channels is the online banking. The article written about it is composed of three segments. In the first segment of the article, what a bank is defined, data about its functions, the historical process of banking; bank, branch offices, and staff personal in the means of their numbers is compiled. In the second segment, online banking is mentioned. Upon mentioning historical developments of online banking, the advantages and the disadvantages of online banking is told, information about the security systems are given, it's determined by update works which transactions can be done and statistical data on online banking in Turkey are arranged as a chart and it's interpreted. In the third and the last segment, upon assigning a sample in Turkey, a survey study is carried out. With this survey, people's thoughts about online banking is asked, by forecasting what is needed for its spreading, results are tried to be acquired.
