Consumer behavior analysis related to internet banking

The banking sector plays an important role in the global economy. Internet banking is an extension of the development of electronic banking, and the platform is open network systems used as individual and commercial all banking operations can be done in virtual environments. With the widespread use of the internet, internet banking practices have affected significantly. The aim of this research is to examine consumer behavior related to internet banking. In this study, it was investigated whether consumer behaviors related to internet banking are different according to gender, age, marital status, educational status, working area and income level. The research was conducted with the participation of 590 people in electronic environment. In the research, the use of internet banking as a data collection tool was measured in the Behavior Scale. The data were analyzed using frequency, percent, mean, standard deviation, correlation, t-test for independent groups and one-way variance analysis. The results obtained in the research are as follows. Positive, meaningful relationships were found between perceived usability, perceived ease of use, social impact, perceived reliability characteristics. It has been determined that the consumer behaviors related to internet banking use differ according to gender and the male participants ' use of internet banking behaviors are significantly higher than female participants. Consumption behavior related to the use of internet banking has been determined not to differ according to education status, marital status and income status. Some suggestions have been introduced for consumer behavior related to the use of internet banking.
