Abstract (EN)
The concept of marketing is as old as human history. Since the ancient times, marketing strategies are constantly evolving in order to attract people's attention. With digitalization, the field of marketing has also started to digitalize and as a result, the concept of digital marketing has emerged. Since the 20th century, the rapidly developing technology and the developing internet-based communication technologies allows digital marketing. As one of the digital marketing strategies, the development of personalized advertisements has been an important development in terms of advertising. Personalized advertisements have made reaching the consumer easier and more targeted. Digital marketing is used extensively in Türkiye as in the world. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 21 university students to find answers to questions such as how consumers perceive personalized advertisements, whether it has an impact on their decisions, and the privacy of their personal information. Within the scope of this study, students' opinions were taken and interpreted.
