Abstract (EN)
This study focuses on the protection and security of personal data in smart home applications. Although these technologies make daily life more practical, they also bring certain risks. Devices connected to the internet are especially vulnerable to external interference. Such security gaps may lead to the theft of user information or disruptions in the functioning of systems. The research begins by explaining the basic operation of smart home solutions and their transformation over the years. Then, it highlights the types of attacks carried out against these systems and the protection methods that can be applied. Current regulations on personal data security and user rights are also examined. In the later part of the study, the opportunities offered by new technologies and methods for storing data more securely are explored. The main aim of the study is to raise awareness among users and provide guidance for developers. Overall, it concludes that serious precautions are necessary for smart home solutions to be both functional and reliable.
