Özet (EN)
Heavy metals are a significant threat to living things, especially hummans. Heavy metals can be exposed in the work environment as well as in nature. In our study, which was conducted to examine working environment exposure, it was aimed to determine the exposure using hair samples and a survey taken from 70 workers working in a yarn factory. Analysis of the taken hair samples was performed by inductively coupled pasma mass spectroscopy (ICP-MS). The results were evaluated with the SPSS package program. The Pb levels of male workers participating in the study were found to be 4.68±2.97μg/g, and the Pb levels of female workers were 4.43±2.73μg/g. Cd levels were found to be 2.50±1.90μg/g in male employees and 2.26±1.78μg/g in female employees. Ni levels were found to be 1.17±1.32μg/g in male employees and 1.02±1.07μg/g in female employees. In this context, it was determined that the toxic metals above normal values were Pb, Cg and Ni mentioned above. 2024, xiv + 126 Pages Keywords: Heavy metal, Exposure, Cotton
