Özet (EN)

The current study aimed to investigate the relationship between the etiology and blood parameters of dermatitis. To determine the Interlukine-19 (IL-19), Interferon gamma (INF-γ) and immunoglobulins in relation to acne vulgaris, 83 samples from patients and 37 samples as control were collected in Iraq from Nov 2021 to Mar 2022. The skin lesion swabs were cultured on (blood agar, MacConkey agar, and other selective media), according to the cultural, morphological, biochemical characteristics, and VITEK results, only 30 (36%), 5 (7%), 20 (24%), 18 (21%), and 10 (12%) has been identified as Propionibacterium acnes, Micrococcus luteus, Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, and Streptococcus pyogenes, respectively. The serum was obtained from the blood to estimate the level of IL-19, INF-γ, IgE, IgM and IgG. The results showed that the levels of IL-19 were higher in infected cases than controls (p<0.05). No significant differences were recorded between infected cases and controls for INF-γ, IgE, IgM and IgG. The IL-19 levels were display significant differences between male and female in P. acnes, S. aureus S. epidermidis, and S. pyogenes infections (p˂0.05). Regarding INF-γ levels according to the bacterial isolates in the case group compared with the control group, there was no significant difference at (p˃0.05).
