Abstract (EN)

Using Deleuze and Guattari's discussion of minor literature and Pascale Casanova's "world literary map", this thesis studies minor literature in the Iraninan context in two different historical episodes in Iran- the Pahlavi era and the Islamic Republic. It focuses on the works of Samad Behrangi, Reza Baraheni and Gholam Hossein Sa'edi, who wrote in the dominant Persian language and were influenced by American and European literature, while reflecting on their minor Azarbaijani identity. As part of a literary space that had already witnessed many movements both in Iran and abroad, these writers have been accepted as canonical in the framework of a "committed literature" that turned into a political force.
