Abstract (EN)

The objective of this study is to expose the reactions to Iran's nuclear energy policy. Faced with Iran's desire to develop nuclear energy capacity, Western decision makers had to seek the answer of the following question: Does Iran really intend to meet her energy needs, or does she aim to consolidate her position in the field of energy in a way to enlarge her own hinterland? Iran's nuclear ambitions run counter to the long-term interests of Western states. The insistence of Iran in building nuclear facilities has repercussions in the international fora. Many actors, including the United States and the member states of the European Union have reacted to Iran's nuclear dossier. One can legitimately argue that a short-term solution is difficult to conceive. It is anticipated that continuing Iran's insistent attitude in this policy will lead to the deepening of the crisis.
