The impact of work-family conflict on emotional labor: A research on secondary school teachers

The aim of this study is to determine the Effects on the emotional labor of family conflict of Secondary scholl Teachers working in the education sector. The study was carried out with the participation of 280 secondary school Teachers in Bafra district of Samsun Province. In the first part of the study, work and family concepts, work-family conflict and factors affecting work-family conflict are included. In the second part, the concepts of Emotion and labor, the definition of emotional labor and the relationship between work-family conflict and emotional labor are emphasized. In the last chapter, the study on the Effect of work-family conflict on emotional labor is interpreted bu making Survey and analysis findings. Analysis results showed that there were Significant relationships between variables. It has been found that work-family conflict has a Significant Effect on emotional labor. In addition, it has been observed that work-family conflict has a positive and Significant Effect on superficial Behavior from the subdimensions emotional labor.
