Research of information profiles related to occupational safety: Kutahya Porcelain sample

The issue of occupational safety and health has been one of the most important problems that have been addressed with the unintended consequences of recent work accidents. In the solutions of the problems in the business world which is very different and component, besides the general precautions related to occupational health and safety, solutions which can be put forward according to the characteristics and physical places of the business line are also sought. In this research, productive facilities' occupational health and safety profiles cannot be perceived by employees, is discussed whether the proposals for the development of those profiles in Kütahya Porcelain which is one of the leading companies in Turkey. In this context, the definition of occupational health and safety in the production area of Kütahya Porcelain factory, its importance in terms of operation and personnel, the examination of personnel information profiles and the information about how the equipment order used for production should be brought together. This research was developed by using the general scanning model. In this context, visual perceptions and ease of use of all profiles used on blue collar personnel were measured and data were collected about how the profiles should be and how they should be used. These data were obtained by applying a questionnaire to blue collar personnel. The universe of the study was formed by Kutahya Porcelain, and the sample of the study was formed by 134 people who worked at Kutahya Porcelain between 2018-2019 and participated in the survey voluntarily. It is also understood that there is a need for designs that will be made in businesses with visually richer, remarkable colors and sizes.
