House of quality approach to the occupational health and safety management system

Abstract (EN)

The progress of industry and technology with opening of new working areas, also the reasons inadvertence of employees and neglecting precautions about occupational health and safety (OHS) increases work accidents and occupational diseases, visibly. Losses depending on work accidents and occupational diseases cause some disadvantages for employers. In order to decrease these advantages to minimum, employers try to develop OHS management system in their workplace. It is important that being accepted OHS management system as a whole and being applied effectively all requirements of OHS management system so as to continue workplace, safely and healthy. In this study, OHSAS 18001 was investigated with approaches house of quality and requirements of OHS management system was evaluated according to analyze of house of quality. In literature, there is no direct information about OHS management system with an understanding house of quality. Hence, this study lights the way for a new working area. Until now, some kind of methods that analytic hierarchy processes, fuzzy set theory, proof theory and rough set theory were used for analyzing of house of quality. Rough set theory was made use for analyzing of house of quality because of the reasons that rough set theory mentions values of an interval instead certain values and it doesn?t need subjective applications for data analyze and extrinsic value. This study covers firms in the field of electric-electronic. In this study, for the firms in the field electric- electronic, degrees of negative effects of the lack of OHS management system were determined, the subject, which requirements of OHS management system can be used to prevent each of these negative effects, was investigated, and the relations between requirements of OHS management system each other was evaluated. As a result, it was stated which requirements of OHS management system are appropriate for dealing with disadvantages of the lack of OHS management system on employers.
