This thesis study titled as ?Modeling and Application of Process Improvement Techniques for Determination Analysis and Development of Weak Points in Business Processes? provides a new solution proposal with different point of view on development of companies. The learning process of the companies are provided by learning of human resources which are gathered under the target of institutional identity of the organization, on the other hand, improvement process of the companies are provided by development of business processes where all the activities that are identified to access the same target systematically take part in. One of the reasons that improvement of the business processes still being a living topic is its development in both theoretical and applicable manner. However, against many approaches in theory, successful applications in practical area are not encountered at the same rate as in theoretical. Many factors that cause this situation can be put in order. The subjects that form the basis of the thesis and take part in the problem definition are selected among these facts. In this thesis study, improvement of the weak points in processes is taken as the main goal. The weak points in the model constructed for this goal are represented by weakness degrees which are defined with the constructed mathematical model and expressed relative to the importance degree of the processes. The main goal of the process improvement model is improving the weakness degrees in processes. With the modeled process improvement techniques, the solution is proposed by taking account the two basic criteria which are determined in the direction of this goal. By the proposed model, the first criteria which has greater importance degree in improvement and the second criteria which has lower improvement cost, processes are optimized in order to reach the best total improvement level and selection of the processes having priority in improvement have been provided. The improvement obtained by the model results provides the determination of process improvement strategies relative to improvement degree of processes having priority and also their sub factors. The model, which is defined as ISZAG model is practically applied in all the levels from the beginning to the determination of strategies intended for the model results, and consistency of the results are verified.
