Abstract (EN)
Job demands are seen as physical, psychological and social effects of the physical and mental efforts required by the job on employees, while job resources refer to the opportunities and achievements that support the development of the employees to reduce these effects. The purpose of this study is to explain the effects on the safety behavior of the cabin crew by identifying the job demands and job resources they perceive. For this purpose, data from 14 cabin crew in a medium-sized airline company from Turkey were obtained through a semi-structured interview method. As a result of the analysis, the data are summarized under three parts called "Findings about perceived job demands by cabin crew", "Findings about perceived job resources by cabin crew" and "Findings about perceived job demands and job resources' effects on safety behaviors of cabin crew" and ten themes under these three parts.
