Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this research is to determine the relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment and differentiating effects of personal features of workers. Our study consists of three sections. The first section mentions about the description and concept of job satisfaction, its importance, the factors which effects job satisfaction and the results of job dissatisfaction. Moreover, as a result of this article's concept, the first section mentions about civil society, nongovernmental organisations, types and qualifications of nongovernmental organisations and their missions. The second section deals with the terms of organizational commitment and its importance, classification, the factors which effect organizational commitment and the results. And the interaction of organizational commitment and job satisfaction. Following the delivery of the first two parts of the theoretical background, a study was conducted on the subject in the last section. The research covers all employees of a leading civil society organization in Turkey that has the national and international activities. In this study it is determined there is a positive correlation between job satisfaction and organizational commitment Moreover; not only a significant relation is found between the level of job satisfaction and the factors of gender, age, salary, the duration of the actual job etc., but also a significant correlation has been detected between the level of the education and organizational commitment.
