Abstract (EN)
Nowadays, with the development of technology, electronic devices are used in every moment of our lives. These devices, which make our lives easier, are of great importance in our lives. Along with this convenience, although electrical devices have advantages such as labor and time, there are also harms to the human body. Many researches have been done on this subject. These damages have been tried to be kept at a minimum level with researches and studies. These electrical devices create electromagnetic fields at different frequencies during use. Exposure to electromagnetic fields adversely affects human health. Along with the developing technology, many new devices have started to be used, and the frequency band in which these devices work has also increased. All over the world and in our country, as of 2020, the interaction with devices has increased due to the precautionary plans taken during the covid-19 epidemic, which is accepted as a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO) as of 2020, and even the use of devices by children during distance education has increased and thus the exposure has increased. With the change of data according to the geography where the research was conducted, evaluations are made that the time spent by people on the internet after the pandemic and the time spent in front of the screen, especially in children and adolescents, increased 3-4 times compared to the data before the pandemic. In this thesis, electromagnetic dose analyzes were carried out, including employees, children and pregnant women exposed to electrical devices, and by determining the safety measures that can be taken, the interaction of children with screened devices in the distance education process and at home, especially during the current pandemic period, and electromagnetic dose analysis of people such as pregnant women and the elderly. Data on risk levels in interactions have been obtained. Ellipsoid body models were used to calculate the electric field and current densities induced in the child and adult human body by the effect of external magnetic fields from 50 Hz frequency to 100 kHz frequency, which is the low frequency region. The induced current density was estimated by normalizing the external magnetic field to 1 µT. In the low-frequency region, the electric fields and current densities induced in the body by the effect of the external magnetic field, and in the high-frequency region, patch antenna modeling was made according to the device-human interaction status, and induced specific absorption rate (SAR) simulation calculations were made on the body or body parts such as the head and eyes. The results and safety precautions are discussed in the findings and discussion section.
