The personnel safety equipments used for occupational health and safety and it's standards

Every year thousands of people die because of work-related accidents and diseases or seriously disabled in our country. Economic losses reach accidents, injuries and diseases beside to make workplace healthier and safer, education of workers, to protect machines and workbenches operation points the most important measure is to use the appropriate personnel safety equipments in appropriate works. This study made by collecting statistics informations, study, evaluation and source searching. The aim of this study to show physical and virtual losses by statistics informations caused by work-related accidents, injuries and diseases in Turkey and in the world and to emphasize the importance of using the personnel safety equipments. To use the personnel safety equipments provent workers against workrelated accidents and diseases. The equipments have to Turkish and European standards. Also they have to be appropriate characteristics to provent from workrelated accidents and diseases caused by work and workplace hazards. The personnel safety equipments have to use permanently by workers in appropriate shape and appropriate conditions. By establishing using consciousness, the personnel safety equipments have to be used permanently by workers in their workplaces against probable work-related accidents and diseases as a appropriate shape and conditions. If it is provided that the work-related accidents and diseases, the physical and virtual losses and paints will decrease in our country.
