Özet (EN)

The aim is this study was to investigated the corelations between physical fitness level of worker and work related physical risk factors and work related musculo skeletal disorder. 250 workers who work in the assembling department of a factory attended and 230 workers completed the study. Of physical parameters, hand grip force, finger grip force, flexibility of the trunk, gastro soleus muscle flexibility and body mass index have been measured. The work related risk faktors has been evaluated by functional burden index. To identify the situation of musculo skeletal disorder, the illnesses that have caused the most number of the lost days from work for the last one year have been recorded. Despite the connection observed between work functional burdens and musculoskeletal disorder , at the end of the statistical evaluation, no significant correlation has been found between musculo skeletal disorder and functional burden points of work. According to the correlation analysis, a statistically significant correlation has been found between gastro soleus muscle and low back musculo skeletal disorder. No significant correlation has been found between body mass index and number of lost days because of muscle skeletal disorder. It has been found that musculo skeletal disorder and physical fitness levels have significant correlation. It has been understood that it is very important to give a place to the exercises which increase physical fitness and programs which increase consciousness by pyhsiotherapists in the struggle against musculo skeletal disorder and health protection programs.
