Determining of employees motivation levels with customers satisfaction perception: An application at Zonguldak Oral and Dental Health Center

Abstract (EN)

Within the scope of the researh, motivation levels of medical staff and perception of customers satisfaction were assessed in terms of demographic variables. At this research, scanning relational model was used for demonstrate the relationship between the variables. This research was conducted on a total of 496 subjects using two separate scales, that 96 health workers who works in Zonguldak Dental Research Center and 400 patients treated in this institution.For the patients, the scale which used by the Health Ministry to measure patient satisfaction has been used. For the health workers a scale was created and used by using motivational tools. The data obtained with the Patient Satisfaction Questionnaire and the Scale of the Employee Motivation Level was calculated with descriptive statistics such as arithmetic mean, median, mode, standard deviation and percentage distribution. To find relationships between variables t-test and One Way Anova test were used.As a result of the research results obtained from the data, at the employees? level of motivation who works in the institution, a significant difference was found in terms of variables gender, education level, professional title, insurance and service time and a significant difference was not found in terms of age variable. A significant difference was found only in terms of education level at patient satisfaction.Key Words: Satisfaction and Motivation
