Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to present opinions regarding the middle school students and science teachers knowledge level about light pollution. Qualitative research technique was used in the research which has the characteristics of case study. In the research, interview technique was used to collect data and a semi-structured interview form was prepared for this purpose. The study group that was interviewed consisted of 10 participants which included 5 students and 5 teachers living in the province of Antalya and all the ideas were specified in detail. As a result of the research, we observed the light pollution and integration of environmental education to science course by implementations are important in the interviews and they provide awareness. When we worked with the students in the school environments through activities, this awareness made contribution to the enlightenment processes of the other individuals who form the society. In this way, when we explain the risk of light pollution which is negative effector on the human life, plants and animals in the correct way, local authorities and central lawmakers will provide more sensitive regulations and policies regarding light pollution and environmental protection by conscious students, teachers and families.
