Özet (EN)
Since the prehistoric times mythology, which is transferred to the present either by written or verbal expressions, has a direct impact on the formation of political, religious, cultural and economic concepts. In each period it was re-formed by creating the boundaries of that period, place, time and climate conditions. In its general form, the Scandinavian Mythology just like the other mythologies, was transferred verbally and creates a legendary and miraculous atmosphere. Unfortunately, there are limited sources in Turkish which makes a deeper sensation on those who are interested. The mistranslation of the sources that do not include all the details and create an integrity, is the main reason for choosing the subject of this study. At this point, various dissertations, articles, journals, books and visual are studied carefully which has created the foundation of this plain and explanatory thesis in lieu of the misleading information in the interactive environments. Both foreign and local sources are used the written expressions are supported with the visuals. The symbolization of the mythological elements of this age that is perpetually revealed especially in popular sectors like television series and movies, supported the facts of this study. The sources are studied carefully without leading any misinterpretation which has created the objectivity of this thesis. After sharing the general outline of mythology, various experiments have been carried out in the most preferred digital printing environment as a printing method. These experiments were based on the information contained in the thesis and accordingly the religious symbols were redesigned. The emerging applications are compared to the visuals and the resources that the primitive societies have are revealed in terms of the printing methods which has become much easier after the technological developments.
