Detection of different meat species in cooked meat products using ELISA technique

Abstract (EN)

In this study, 100 consumable cooked meat products that supplied from İzmir and Aydın with random sampling, has detected of horse, poultry, pork and cattle meat using monoclonal antibody (MAb) sandwich ELISA technique. This study aimed to research about detection of adulteration, consistent of food standart and accuracy of label information. Despite most of samples were obtained consistent results, 19 samples detected adulterated. Our method of detection is quick and it may be routine analyse method for food administration laboratories to carry out meat species identification in processed foods.
