Legal and moral continuity of family in the İslamic Law

This thesis consists of an introduction part and three chapters. In the introduction part, the significance and purposes of the thesis, the scope and presentation of the content have been discussed. In the first section, the definition and provision of the marriage, the condition and component of marriage contract, indemnification and its condition, the views of denominations on indemnification issue and the legal results related to the absence of redemption have been tried to explained. In the second part the information related to the legal elements ensuring continuity of the family after marriage, the mutual responsibilities and duties of the spouses such as alimony, breastfeeding of the baby, supplying the needs, their responsibilities and duties towards their parents, the terms and conditions putting forward during the marriage, the conditions which they should conform to or not to, the mutual obedience of the spouses, and the way the partners proceed incase of disagreement on disobeying and dissesion of the wife towards her husband have been given in accordance with Islamic law. In the third part, the moral and spiritual elements such as mercy and love between husband and wife, moral and spiritual values, showing patience for the troubles that the couples created for each other, loving each other for the sake of God, gathering of people believing in moral issues in the eternal life, loyality,faithfullness,self sacrifice ensuring the continuity of the family after marriage have been presented.
