Özet (EN)

Disability is of a universal quality in terms of being a common condition in all societies. That quality in the term itself shows similarity to the universality of religion. Therefore, the subject of disability should take an important place in the studies that need to be done in the field of theology. Our research on disability is an effort to contribute modestly to the work to be done in the field. Our study consists of three parts. It is included in the definitions of the concept of disability on various grounds, not on the first floor. Then, based on these definitions, it was discussed what should be the most plausible statements to express disability. Finally, it was tried to determine how the concept was interpreted in certain periods and civilizations by searching the historical course of disability. In the second part, the theological aspect of disability is examined. This theological research, which was mostly concentrated on three major religions: Judaism, Christianity and Islam, also sheds limited light on how the subject is handled in primitive religions and local religions. It is also in this part that we discussed where the interpretations of religions on disability are dissimilar and where they are dissimilar. In the third and final section, disability descriptions and accounts in the fields of Kalam discipline and Islamic philosophy are included. In the Kalam, the interpretations of the Mu'tazilite, Ash'ari and Maturidi schools were examined, while in Islamic philosophy, the disability of names such as Ibn Sina, Farabi and Ibn Rushd, considered to be the authorities in the field, were focused on in terms of titles they dealt with the issue and how they considered it. In fact, the data obtained in this section constitute the very essence of our research.
