Özet (EN)

The common point of thinkers in the philosophy of knowledge is the search for certainty. While the word "yakin", which comes from the root of being stable and attaining tranquility, is used in the sense of a certain belief that has no doubt in its correctness, it also includes a certain thought process. Although the thought systems adopt different results about whether certainty is possible, in any case, the main artery of the systems is the approaches to certainty. While the thinking and learning process extending from knowledge to certainty is directly related to ontology, it is one of the factors that give systems a name. Among Islamic thinkers, knowledge has been interpreted gradually, both intellectually and experientially. These levels are listed from bottom to top as ignorance, presumption, suspicion, knowledge, and certainty. This study aims to center certain names in Islamic Philosophy, in particular, the term "yakin", as well as taking into consideration the disciplines of Kalam and Sufism. In each part of the study, it is aimed to follw the term through the views of leading thinkers and theorists by examining a discipline. It will be discussed in which context the term "certainty" is analyzed and how the concept sequence is made. In addition, "certainty" definitions of disciplines, differences between descriptions, and the factors affecting these distinctions will be mentioned. Keywords: Knowledge, Self-Evidence, Demonstration (Burhan), Premises, Causality, Conception, Affirmation, Evidence.
