Abstract (EN)
The Qoran and the Sunnah which constitute the fundamental sources of Islamic fiqh, due to be received by us in a language, literal istinbat methods has discussed in detail in the Islamic jurisprudence methodology and various issues concerning linguistics has become issue of fiqh methodology. The subject of imperatives and prohibitions is one of the issues that discussed under the heading of ?linguisctic principles? in the classical fiqh literature. Because of constituting the essence of provisions, imperatives and prohibitions have an important place in the Islamic jurisprudence methodology. Furthermore, understanding Shari?s purpose is connected to degree of certainty of meaning of the imperatives and prohibitions. For this reason, many discussions relevant to the imperativesand prohibitionsare dealt by scholars and the subject of our thesis ?the dalalah of the imperatives and prohibitions to their antonyms? took place between these debates.This study which has been prepared as a master thesis consists of an introduction and two parts. In the first part, general information about the imperatives and prohibitions has been given. In the second part, the dalalah of imperatives and prohibitions to their antonyms has been investigated. In this context, the meaning of the concept of antonyms in the Islamic jurisprudencemethodology has been handled. Additionally, general information about the concept of dalalah has been given according to the disciplines of logic and fiqh methodology. Major methodical debates about dalalah of imperatives and prohibitions to their antonyms were analysed with their justification. And the theological and linguistic backgrounds of the problem were studied. Additionally the conflicts that are relevant to provisions which are guided by imperatives and prohibitions are discussed. At the end of this section, the relevance of the subject with the divergent meaning (mafhum al-mukhâlafah) is tried to be analysed comparatively.
